Chasing the light

I've noticed a reoccurring theme in my pictures from San Francisco; they are all chasing the light in someway or other. I think I subconsciously searched out those rays of sun since Denmark in winter is so dark.

  1. These photos are beautiful! I completely understand chasing the light this time of year. Everything is so grey I feel like we haven't seen the sun in months.

    1. Me too. It was a perfect time of year to escape the grey and get a little vitamin-D!

    1. I was secretly taking that picture, hoping they wouldn't find out - I'm such a chicken when it comes to photographing strangers!

  3. I am the same Ida, since I am in Sydney I am so focused on light and can't even imagine the cold, dark Winters back home anymore. Love the last one here especially!

    1. Oh lucky you! It depends how long time you've got but my favorite neighborhoods are Castro, Noe Valley, the Mission and Golden Gate Park/Ocean Beach. If you get up early and plan your time well, you'll be able to walk Castro, Noe Valley and the Mission in one day but if you have the time I'd definitely use 2 days as there's so much to see and do there. I'm already looking forward to seeing your pictures :-)
